Saeed AmiraslaniSaeed Amiraslani

Saeed Amiraslani graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. He is also a member of (l’ Ordre Professionnel de la Phyiothérapie du Québec) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Throughout his career of 16 years, Saeed has taken several post graduate courses, including first and second year of Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Manual Therapy and holds a diploma in “Re-éducation Postural Global” (R.P.G.).  When Saeed is not at the clinic you can find him enjoying cross country skiing and cycling.
Grégory Berge

Osteopath Gregory Berge has obtained his Degree in Osteopathy, in October 2006, after 6 years of studies, at the “Collège Ostéopathique de Provence” in Marseille, France. He moved to Montreal in August 2007, after being granted his permanent resident visa. Just a few weeks later he got his license to heal from le Syndicat des Ostéopathes du Québec. During his studies, Gregory has always been passionate about sports and prevention, training, conditioning and the different therapies that are in relation to sports.  Gregory holds the competitive advantage to have experience in a variety of different osteopathic emergency situations. He helped the Martigues’ track and field team get to the France National Championship Series in 2005 and 2006. Nevertheless his fondest memory still remains with the achievement of four France National Championship title wins, in a row, by his College, from 2003 to 2006, where he has been involved as both a player and a therapist. He completed his courses, with his l’Union Fédérale des Ostéopathes Français « le Prix Coup de Cœur » award winning thesis which presented the Osteopathic significance after an ACL injury. During his spare time, Gregory enjoys activities such as basket-ball, hip-hop dance and dreams to be able to compete, once again, in a marathon or any other ultra-endurance race.
Dr. Mark Burman

Orthopedic Surgeon practicing at the Montreal General Hospital, Dr. Burman graduated in medicine from McGill University in 1992. He completed his residency in Orthopedics at McGill University and continued his fellowship in Sports Medicine at McGill in 1997-1998, at the University of Oklahoma in 1998-1999 and obtained a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Toronto in 1999-2000. Dr. Burman is presently Orthopedic Surgeon to the Montreal Alouettes Football Team, the Montreal Impact Soccer Club and is a consultant for Cirque du Soleil, the McGill University Athletic Department and has clinics at both Action Sport Physio Downtown and St-Laurent.
Carol GilbertCarol Gilbert

Carol Gilbert graduated in 1995 from the University Laval with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy.  Following his internships, he received his license from l’Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec.  Ever since his studies began, Carol has shown a great interest in sports medicine.  In fact, he has worked with several sports teams such as the Montréal Alouettes, from the Canadian Football League and the Canadian Freestyle Ski team.  He was also the medical coordinator at John Abbott College, where he supervised as many as 14 different sport teams.  He has also participated in several national and international sporting events. He enjoyes contact and fighting sports: he was the therapist for the national team of TaeKwon Do for 5 years… For the last 3 years, he has been the team physiotherapist for the Canadian Snowboard Federation.Having already completed his National Level 3 in sports physiotherapy, Carol continues to further his education and knowledge by taking professional courses, with a special interest in manual therapy.  Moreover, he is also certified in athletic therapy. He has been teaching at the University of Montreal for  the last 9 years.When he is away from the clinic, Carol enjoys many sports such as triathlons, weight training and all outdoor activities… especially snowboarding!
Fred LinFred Lin

Fred Yu Chieh Lin graduated in 2006 from McGill University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy. Currently a licensed physiotherapist, he is member of the “l’Ordre Professionel de la Physiothérapie du Quebec (OPPQ) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Following his graduation, he started working at Action Sport Physio St-Laurent secondary to his interest for orthopaedics and sport medicine.  
For that reason, he has also been following professional courses such as Manual Therapy Clinical Integration level 1 and Mckenzie A  (Lumbar spine treatment) to further perfecting his techniques and knowledge. In fact, he is presently in the process of taking Manual Therapy Lower Quadrant Level 2.  Outside his practice, he enjoys snowboarding, biking and weight training as well as playing many sports such as soccer and tennis.
Sandra NeveuSandra Neveu

Sandra Neveu has graduated in 2005 from the University of Ottawa, with a bachelor in Science (Physiotherapy). Sport has always been a big part of her life, and it is the reason why she discovered physiotherapy upon her completion of a bachelor in Physical Activities, in Ottawa as well.During her studies, she worked as a personal trainer in different sport centers, designing exercise programs for a differed clientele (police tech, firefighter exams, weight loss programs…).  She was involved as a therapist for the games of the Outaouais Football Club (soccer) during 2 seasons. She was also implicated in many games of volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling.Having a big interest in manual therapy, Sandra has completed her level I and finished the lower quadrant of the level II. She has also done the part A of the McKenzie approach. She is now planning to do the sport first responder’s course.Outside of the clinic, Sandra enjoys running (she has done 4 half-marathons), skiing, beach volleyball, wall climbing and conditioning
Daniele VendittiDaniele Venditti

Daniele Venditti completed his Bachelor of Science degree, major in Exercise Science, at Concordia University in 2006. Over the years, Danny grew a great appreciation for the field of massage therapy due to its significant therapeutic benefits. For this reason, he decided to pursue his studies at Kiné-Concept Institute in Massage Therapy. He earned a specialization in Kinetic Swedish Massage, Passive Mobilizations, and Sports Massage as well as obtaining a membership in the Fédération Québécoise des Massothérapeutes (FQM). Joining the Action Sport Physio team in 2008, Danny hopes to gain more knowledge and experience in his field. He has much experience working with athletes at such events as the Canadian CN Olympic Swimming Trials, Speedo National Club Championship in Water Polo, and CEGEP Provincial Swim Championship. He has also had the pleasure to work with the Montreal Impact Soccer Team. Danny has always been a great sports enthusiast, being surrounded by sports as an athlete himself and an avid spectator. He is most passionate about soccer and traveling.
