| Marie-Josée Morneau
Marie-Josée Morneau completed a Baccalaureate in Physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 1996. Prior to her entry in the Physiotherapy program, she had carried out a formation in Physical Education, which gave her knowledge on physical activity, training methods, etc. Furthermore, she has her national trainers' certification (level I) for many sports such as soccer, volleyball and Judo (level II). Marie-Josée is focussing on her manual therapy training, in which she has obtained her E1V1 and E2 levels. She will soon be taking her vertebral course (V2). These courses allow the therapist to treat joints specifically. She also has a great interest for first aid and emergency care during sport events. Her reputation has been made on Judo mats. She is our female representative on the National Judo team. Black belt 3rd dan, she was Canadian Champion 4 times, which gave her the opportunity to be a member of the Olympic team for the Atlanta Games in 1996. Being still very active with the team as a competitor, she also works as a physiotherapist during national and local events. In march 1998, Marie-Josée competed in Prague during the Open Czech Republic. In her spare time, she loves downhill and cross-country skiing. Soccer, running and biking are activities that she has enjoys. To maintain a good balance between work and play, there is nothing better than an outing with a group of friends.
